Get to Know the First Presidency and Twelve Apostles

March 30, 2020 by Montserrat | 3 Comments

Do you know . . .

Which apostle enjoys opera?

Who grew up on a dairy farm?

Who served in the Japan Fukuoka Mission?

Which apostle learned to bake bread at 13?

Here are two files to download and print out for your family. Hang them up and get to know a little more about the First Presidency and Twelve Apostles before General Conference this weekend!

A two page file with pictures of the First Presidency and Twelve Apostles to match with facts about them. Created from the May 2018 Friend Magazine.

Here’s an infographic for Elder Patrick Kearon! It was shared on the church’s official facebook page for the Philippines. Right click on the image and choose “save image.”

One General Conference tradition we have is our General Conference Wall. We hang up pictures or posters of each apostle near our TV. We have pages for other speakers too. Everyone gets their own color of post-it notes to write or draw something they learned from the speaker and then we place those post-it notes on the picture. We use them later at family home evening to review what we learned in General Conference. The infographics would be perfect for this!

Love all of your resources! Thanks so much! I’m wondering if there is way to have the apostle infographic pages saved as a jpeg so they could be printed as photos?

I would love an infographics page for Elder Kearon. I want to have my Primary Activity Day girls learn about each apostle.
Thank you for all this information. I know this took a lot of time and effort. Thanks for sharing your talents.

To help families be more intentional with their Ea To help families be more intentional with their Easter celebration I thought I’d share here a FREE 30 day Easter Countdown that I created in 2012 and shared on my other blog back then. This 30 day countdown to Easter utilizes The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles. Each day focuses on a portion of that document – either a sentence or a paragraph or a name of Christ.

There are scriptures to read, discussion questions, and even additional activity ideas for each day!

Hello! Welcome to A Gospel Centered Home. I’m Mont Hello! Welcome to A Gospel Centered Home. I’m Montserrat. My husband, Joseph, and I have eleven children. We’ve raised them on lots of love and land on a farm in Northern Nevada. Four of our daughters are married and another will be getting married this Saturday! (Last photo) Our 10th grandchild was born December 30th! We currently have a son serving as a missionary in the Michigan Detroit Mission. We still have four children at home.

One highlight of 2025 was getting to help with the open house for the Elko Nevada Temple. It was a memorable experience.

In our many years of parenting we have learned that teaching the gospel can be really simple. You don’t need a lot of fluff. The church has produced a TON of resources for parents over the years. Each week I link to those free resources on church websites to help you teach your children. I try to find a wide variety of activities, articles, music, artwork, and videos. While I often forget to post here on Instagram, I always post on the blog. You can find the link in the profile.
