“I Can Do All Things through Christ Which Strengtheneth Me” – Philippians; Colossians

Everyone

Activity – Frowny Face Challenge – Use this activity with your family to talk about how we can help others find joy in Christ.

Audio – Joy in Sharing – When we love the Lord, we find joy in sharing our blessings. Let’s share what we have, regardless of what or how much that may be.

Audio – Give Thanks – The scriptures tell us to be grateful countless times. And practicing gratitude actually can rewire your brain. Remember, “It is not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy.”

Audio – I Can Do All Things – Many times in our lives, we are asked to do hard things. But when we turn to Christ, we will be given strength to bear these burdens, just as he strengthened the people of Alma that their burdens became light.

Video – Spiritual Whirlwinds – Don’t let the whirlwinds drag you down. Learn how to stand strong as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in this inspirational video about finding strength.

Video – Gratitude: Living in Thanksgiving Daily – The more often we see the things around us, the more they become invisible to us. Learn how you can live in thanksgiving daily by noticing the wonders and beauties of this world.

Children

Church leaders love me and pray for me.

Activity/Article – The Church of Jesus Christ – Draw a picture of yourself and learn more about church leaders who help you!

Article – Paul’s Missionary Journeys – This scripture story from the Friend talks about the sacrifices Paul made to share the gospel.

If I have faith in Jesus Christ, I can be happy even during hard times. I can rejoice in the Lord.

Activity – Jesus Christ Lives – This activity page from the Friend shows pictures of the Savior’s life. Help your children put them in order and talk about the joy that comes from following Him.

My faith is founded on Jesus Christ.

Do we “work out [our] own salvation”?

The gospel of Jesus Christ is worth every sacrifice. Disciples of Jesus Christ become “new” as they live His gospel.
