Video – Pure and Simple Faith – The testimony of a young woman is strengthened as she recognizes the Lord’s hand in providing for her family.

Video – Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People? – Watch this video about a man whose life was changed by a tragic car accident and learn how that trial helped him know the Savior better.

Video – Reclaimed – Share with your family this video in which Elder Shayne M. Bowen of the Seventy teaches about the role of the Savior’s Atonement in renewing us.

Children

Heavenly Father comforts me, and I can comfort others.

Story – The Mooncake Festival – Vincent, a boy from Malaysia, gets hurt while his family is at a festival and prays for Jesus to comfort him.

I can forgive others.

Activity – Shield of Faith – coloring page

Activity/Article – I Forgive You – Includes a coloring activity about walking in others’ shoes.

Article – Jesus Forgave – This is an illustrated scripture story from the Friend about how the Savior taught forgiveness.

Video – The Goal: A Story of Faith, Friendship and Forgiveness – This humorous video depicts the spiritual journey two friends go through as they struggle to forgive each other in their quest to follow the covenant path.

Activity/Article – Being Honest Is Best – A rebus story about a young girl named Verity who loves to live by the meaning of her name and tell the truth. Includes an activity.

Activity/Article – Sharing Time: Be Honest – Cut out and put together a train that spells honesty.

Activity/Article – Sharing Time: Faith in Jesus Christ – Includes instructions for making a booklet about how the word of God is like a seed.

Article – Faith Lights the Way – As a young man, President Gordon B. Hinckley (1910–2008) rode trains that hurtled through narrow mountain passes at night. It helped him understand how the light of faith can guide us through dark times of discouragement.

Video – Reunited By Faith – A young man exercises faith, and is instrumental in bringing his mother back into full Church activity.

Youth and Adults

My trials can be a blessing.

Article – What Happens When Life Gets One Degree Colder? – A plan in which supposedly everything would go right so nobody would be lost was already proposed and rejected. The plan of salvation, on the other hand, allows for opposition in all things: sadness and sweetness, wrongdoing and repentance, trial and testimony.

Article – Face Life’s Tests with the Savior’s Help – In this New Era article, Henry B. Eyring discusses the purpose of life’s tests and trials and teaches that the power of deliverance is available to all through the Savior’s Atonement.

Article – Allowing Your Faith in Jesus Christ to Guide Your Life – Faith in Christ can guide our lives as we cultivate a relationship with God, rely on Him, remain hopeful, and spiritually prepare for trials.

Forgiveness is a blessing I can both give and receive.

Article – The Key to Forgiving Myself – This New Era article explains that the Savior’s Atonement not only allows us to receive forgiveness but also allows us the peace we need to forgive ourselves.

Article – The Light of Forgiving – Steven M. Sandberg teaches that forgiveness is a divine gift from a loving God. We can each experience the light of forgiving in our own lives.

Article – On Measuring Flour and Forgiveness – Do we miserly measure out the flour of forgiveness, or give it freely? We must forgive in order to be forgiven—knowing that God will take care of justice.

Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I can be reconciled to God.

Article – Becoming a “New Creature” in Christ – One horse’s miraculous transformation is a perfect metaphor for how the Savior can see our full potential and make us our best selves.

Article – Deliverance – We are part of the greatest deliverance story ever told. Our Savior is the protagonist, and His promises can fill us with hope.

Article – Come unto Christ – If we come unto Christ, His Atonement will make us clean and spotless. We can go home to live with God again, our deepest desire.

Godly sorrow leads to repentance.

Article – You Can Do It Now – As long as we are willing to rise up again and continue on the path, … we can learn something from failure and become better and happier.
