Article – Be Brave and Share – Elder Paul B. Pieper tells about a few times his children were able to share the gospel.

Article – All Because a Child Knew the Articles of Faith – Thomas S. Monson tells the story of a girl who shared the Articles of Faith with another traveler on a bus. After the experience, the man looked up the Church and he and his family were all baptized.

Audio – Paul and Silas in Prison – A teacher and her students talk about the mission of the Apostle Paul and how he was obedient to the promptings of the Holy Ghost.

The scriptures testify of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Activity/Article – God Is Our Father – Thomas S. Monson shares some truths about our Heavenly Father and our relationship to Him. Includes a simple matching activity using pictures and information from “The Family: A Proclamation to the World.”

Activity/Article – “Sharing Time: I Am a Child of God” – Cut out and glue together a box that shares scriptures about our heritage as children of God.

Article – “He Wants the Best for Me” – Elder Hugo E. Martinez of the Seventy shares how his earthly father wanted the best for him and how he later learned from the missionaries that his Heavenly Parents did too.

Youth & Adults

Teaching Resources – Come Follow Up: Acts 16-21 – Artwork, quotes, and videos to aid teachers in presenting the lesson.

The Spirit will guide me in my efforts to share the gospel.

Article – Hastening the Lord’s Game Plan – We each must develop and carry out our own personal game plan to serve with enthusiasm alongside the full-time missionaries. 

Article – Nothing but Good – This New Era article relates how nothing but good usually comes from acting on the Spirit and sharing the gospel with others.

I can declare the gospel in all circumstances. As members of the Savior’s Church, we testify of Him and share His gospel.

Article – Come and See – The Church of Jesus Christ always has been and always will be a missionary church.

Article – A Witness of God – I suggest that you stop feeling guilty about any insufficiency you think you have in sharing the gospel. Rather, pray “to stand as [a witness] of God.” This is a much stronger motivation than guilt.

Article – Be Wise – The only single quality that should characterize us is that we are a son or daughter of God

Article – We are Children of God – Who are we? We are children of God. Our potential is unlimited. Our inheritance is sacred.

Article – Value Beyond Measure – We can frequently savor the sweet whisperings of the Holy Ghost verifying the truth of our spiritual worth.

To help families be more intentional with their Ea To help families be more intentional with their Easter celebration I thought I’d share here a FREE 30 day Easter Countdown that I created in 2012 and shared on my other blog back then. This 30 day countdown to Easter utilizes The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles. Each day focuses on a portion of that document – either a sentence or a paragraph or a name of Christ.

There are scriptures to read, discussion questions, and even additional activity ideas for each day!

Hello! Welcome to A Gospel Centered Home. I’m Mont Hello! Welcome to A Gospel Centered Home. I’m Montserrat. My husband, Joseph, and I have eleven children. We’ve raised them on lots of love and land on a farm in Northern Nevada. Four of our daughters are married and another will be getting married this Saturday! (Last photo) Our 10th grandchild was born December 30th! We currently have a son serving as a missionary in the Michigan Detroit Mission. We still have four children at home.

One highlight of 2025 was getting to help with the open house for the Elko Nevada Temple. It was a memorable experience.

In our many years of parenting we have learned that teaching the gospel can be really simple. You don’t need a lot of fluff. The church has produced a TON of resources for parents over the years. Each week I link to those free resources on church websites to help you teach your children. I try to find a wide variety of activities, articles, music, artwork, and videos. While I often forget to post here on Instagram, I always post on the blog. You can find the link in the profile.
