Audio – The Ten Virgins – A Primary teacher and children learn about the parable of the 10 virgins. In the parable, Jesus is the Bridegroom. Some of the women were prepared and ready for Him, but others were not. Like the 10 women in this story, some Church members will be ready when Christ comes and some will not. Our lives are filled with opportunities to make sure that we are found among those who are prepared. If we live righteously and turn to the Savior in our lives, we will be ready when the time comes to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus once again.

Video – The Ten Virgins – New Testament scripture reader

At the Final Judgment, we will give the Lord an account of our lives.

Audio – The Widow’s Mite; The Second Coming – A Primary teacher and children talk about two special stories from the teachings of Jesus. The first teaches us an important lesson about what the Savior asks us to do if we would follow Him, and the second story helps us realize that as we try harder and harder to follow Him, we will be more and more prepared to be with Him again one day. We can be like the righteous widow if we are willing to give the things that we have to help bless those around us. Giving of ourselves will help us draw closer to Heavenly Father and our Savior, and it will help us prepare to see Them again.

To help families be more intentional with their Ea To help families be more intentional with their Easter celebration I thought I’d share here a FREE 30 day Easter Countdown that I created in 2012 and shared on my other blog back then. This 30 day countdown to Easter utilizes The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles. Each day focuses on a portion of that document – either a sentence or a paragraph or a name of Christ.

There are scriptures to read, discussion questions, and even additional activity ideas for each day!

Hello! Welcome to A Gospel Centered Home. I’m Mont Hello! Welcome to A Gospel Centered Home. I’m Montserrat. My husband, Joseph, and I have eleven children. We’ve raised them on lots of love and land on a farm in Northern Nevada. Four of our daughters are married and another will be getting married this Saturday! (Last photo) Our 10th grandchild was born December 30th! We currently have a son serving as a missionary in the Michigan Detroit Mission. We still have four children at home.

One highlight of 2025 was getting to help with the open house for the Elko Nevada Temple. It was a memorable experience.

In our many years of parenting we have learned that teaching the gospel can be really simple. You don’t need a lot of fluff. The church has produced a TON of resources for parents over the years. Each week I link to those free resources on church websites to help you teach your children. I try to find a wide variety of activities, articles, music, artwork, and videos. While I often forget to post here on Instagram, I always post on the blog. You can find the link in the profile.
