Gathered in this post are resources to help you teach your family not only the stories of the people in the Old Testament but also the doctrine and principles found in the study block for the Come, Follow Me reading of Deuteronomy 6-8; 15; 18; 29-30; 34. Some great stories are missed this year because of the sheer volume of reading the Old Testament. Even if these aren’t covered in the Come, Follow Me manual they should be studied and learned and taught to your families.

Primary Children

Activity – Jesus Loves Me – An action rhyme for young children about the Savior’s love.

Activity – My Book about Jesus – Make your own book of Jesus with the words to the song “I Know That My Savior Loves Me.”

Story – Feed my Sheep – A girl learns that she can show Jesus love by serving others.

Video – How to Create Hearts with Rock Art – Patti Rokus the rock artist arranges heart-shaped rocks into larger heart shapes. She also talks about how God loves us, and how we can show love to God by keeping the Sabbath day holy. Gospel for Kids (6:29 minutes)
