There are resources for children, youth, and adults. Every resource linked to is free! Most links are to church websites or websites approved for further gospel study. Choose on thing a day to do with your family or a couple to do for family home evening. Enjoy!

Article – Even Though Everyone Else Is Doing It – F. Michael Watson of the Seventy teaches that even if we see other people do something, it doesn’t mean we should do it.

Revelation is available to all, but God guides His Church through His prophet. Numbers 11:11-7, 24-29; 12

Article – Revelation in a Changing World – Revelation continues with us today. The promptings of the Spirit, the dreams, and the visions and the visitations, and the ministering of angels all are with us now.

Article – Witnesses of Christ – Anna and Simeon were eyewitnesses to the infant, but, just like the Apostles, their knowledge of his divine mission came through the witness of the Holy Ghost. “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (Rev. 19:10.) Therefore, we can properly say that when each received this witness, Simeon was a prophet and Anna was a prophetess.

Article – “Thou Shalt Receive Revelation” – It is his will that we gain testimonies, that we seek revelation, that we covet to prophesy, that we desire spiritual gifts, and that we seek the face of the Lord.

Article – Spiritual Gifts – It is important for us to understand the distinction between a prophet, who has the spiritual gift of prophecy, and the prophet, who has the prophetic office.

Speaking against the Lord’s prophet offends the Lord. Numbers 12

Article – Criticism – I am persuaded that many do not understand the Church’s teachings about personal criticism, especially the criticism of Church leaders by Church members.

Article – Meek and Lowly of Heart – Meekness is a defining attribute of the Redeemer and is distinguished by righteous responsiveness, willing submissiveness, and strong self-restraint.

Article – Be Meek and Lowly of Heart – Being meek does not mean weakness, but it does mean behaving with goodness and kindness.

With faith in the Lord, I can have hope for the future. Numbers 13-14

Article – Rebel Not, Neither Fear – Come, Follow Me Insights

Article – Stay the Course – Keep the Faith – There is no place in this work for those who believe only in the gospel of doom and gloom. The gospel is good news. It is a message of triumph. It is a cause to be embraced with enthusiasm.

Video – A Mother’s Hope: Overcoming Fear Through Faith & Hope In God – When President Uchtdorf was a young child, he learned that his mother was a great example of how hope and faith in God and in the Gospel of Jesus Christ can help anyone overcome fear. (3:05 minutes)

Video – Be Not Troubled – Fear is not new. Everyone feels fear. The Lord knows our concerns. He invites us to “be of good cheer.” To dispel fear, seek spirituality. Love what He loves. His perfect love will cast out fear. (4:31 minutes)

If I look to Jesus Christ in faith, He can heal me spiritually. Numbers 21:4-9

Article – Abound with Blessings – Most blessings that God desires to give us require action on our part—action based on our faith in Jesus Christ.

Article – Is it true that the Brazen Serpent lifted up by Moses in the wilderness symbolized Christ? – Why would the image of a serpent be used to represent the Savior?

Article – Look and Live – The Lord stands mercifully ready to heal us if we will but believe in and follow Him.

Article – Modern Day Fiery Serpents – The Israelites had fiery serpents that could poison them. Today we have modern-day “serpents” that can poison us.

I can follow God’s will, even if others try to persuade me not to. Numbers 22-24

Article – The Tugs and Pulls of the World – Many individuals preoccupied by the cares of the world are not necessarily in transgression. But they certainly are in diversion and thus waste “the days of [their] probation”.

Article – The Story of a Prophet’s Madness – Don’t we all know people who, though they were once firm and steadfast in testimony, are now opposing the Lord’s purposes and interests on earth because money and power have twisted their judgment of what should or should not be?

Article – Beware of Murmuring – Obedience is essential to realize the blessings of the Lord.

Article – Stay the Course – Keep the Faith – We see some around us who are indifferent concerning the future of this work, who are apathetic, who speak of limitations, who express fears, who spend their time digging out and writing about what they regard to be weaknesses which really are of no consequence. With doubt concerning its past, they have no vision concerning its future.
