Everyone

Activity – Try Some New Easter Traditions – This Easter, spend some more time remembering the greatest gift ever given.

Activity/Article – Easter Around the World – Try these Easter traditions from around the world.

Article – Easter Week – To relive the events that happened during the last days of Jesus Christ’s mortal ministry is to understand that every day offers a new chance to experience the joy and peace that’s possible because of Him.

Music – Easter Hosanna – Gather the family to sing along to this Primary song.

Music – I Feel My Savior’s Love – Gather the family to sing along to this Primary song.

Video – The Good News – On the first Easter morning, Mary Magdalene was the first witness of the most pivotal event of all human history – the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Her joy then reflects our joy today as we celebrate the hope, healing, and forgiveness that is made possible because of Him. (2:18 minutes)

Primary Children

Video – About the Old Testament – Heavenly Father loves His children. He sent Jesus Christ, or Jehovah, to teach them. The Old Testament contains the stories of these teachings to His ancient people, called the Israelites. (2:07 minutes)

Activity – Easter Morning – Cut out and glue the figures on a piece of paper or inside a small box to make a scene about Easter morning.

The Old Testament testifies of the Savior’s atoning sacrifice.

Article – The Atonement of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament – The Old Testament is a scriptural work that reveals the Lord as the Savior, Redeemer, and great Atoner.

Article – Christ, Our Passover – The Passover in the Old Testament and Easter in the New Testament testify of the great gift God has given and of the sacrifice that was involved in its bestowal.

Through His Atonement, Jesus Christ has power to help us overcome sin, death, trials, and weaknesses.

Article – Abiding in God and Repairing the Breach – Christ has the power to bring us into loving fellowship with the Father and with one another.

Article – The Savior’s Touch – As we come unto Him, God will come to our rescue, whether to heal us or to give us the strength to face any situation.

Video – Token’s of Christ’s Atonement – Painting the door lintels with the blood of slain sheep was a token that God would not harm the Israelites. Since Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God, symbols of Christ’s sacrifice and atonement can be a means for us to focus our thoughts and channel our worship in church and in the temple. After His resurrection, Jesus Christ used the nail prints in his hands and feet as tokens of identification for his disciples in both the Old World and the New World.
